VisualChaos Studios Wedding Photography
Your wedding day is so exciting that it can race past without
you having time to notice the results of all your careful planning. Through
all your years together, you will come to rely on your wedding
album as the most complete reminder of your happy day. This is
why choosing the right wedding photographer for you is so important.
VisualChaos Studios based near crawley, west sussex,
is comprised of professionally qualified husband and wife team,
Steve and Sarah Fisher. We work independently or we can be hired
together but in any event we are there to capture all the excitement
and atmosphere of your day. We are passionate about wedding photography
and thoroughly enjoy providing our customers with beautiful and
creative wedding memories that we hope they will enjoy together
throughout their married life.
Our wedding photography packages are both competitive
and flexible; if you don't see what you are looking for come
and talk to us and we will put together something that is tailor-made
just for you. Don't forget to check out our wedding promotions
page for up to date discount options!
The first thing to do is decide on what coverage you require. Use
the tabs above to view the coverage options. This is the most important
decision as this gets you booked in and your wedding date secured.
We don't usually worry about the choice of wedding album choice
prior to the wedding as we believe you won’t really know what you
want until you have seen your images. You may decide on a print
only package, or may be a traditional overlay wedding album, or
may be the new contemporary storybook albums from
GraphiStudio.com.
Some clients prefer to have their images presented on CD at high
resolution so that they can print and design their own album -
the options are detailed in the 'Wedding Albums' tab above.
Whatever coverage and presentation choice you decide
upon, you can rest assured that we will provide you with very
best care, consideration and attention. From the consideration
of photographic style you prefer to the creation of albums and
prints that will give you wonderful memories for years to come
and just as importantly, a wonderful heirloom of memories for
your children and grandchildren!
We hope you will visit us soon to talk over your
wedding plans - we will certainly look forward to it...

meantime, why not see what our clients have been saying about

Wedding Photography Coverage
The first decision that you need to
make is when you would like the photographic coverage of your
day to begin and to end. We offer three options to make your
selection from. We separate coverage form the final wedding album
so that you are free to choose what album or presentation
option you would like once you have seen the images. Also, you
pay less prior to the wedding as you don't pay for the presentation
option that you choose until after the wedding, which helps with
that all important cash flow! Read
our blog for an overview on todays wedding photography styles...
Standard
Wedding Coverage - £695
Coverage begins with the
groom and his party at the venue before the ceremony starts and
continues until you sit down for your wedding breakfast. Coverage
at two venues, if you are marrying at one and holding your reception at another is not a problem
Extended
Wedding Coverage -£795
With this option, we will meet the bridal
party as they get ready to capture all the day’s preparations. Coverage
then continues until you sit down for your wedding breakfast
with the last shot of the day traditionally being a staged ‘cutting
of the cake’.
Full
Day
Wedding Coverage - £995

Frequently Asked Questions
If we decide to book with you, what is
the deposit required?
In order to secure your booking, we ask for a £250 deposit.
The balance is payable a fortnight before your wedding date. Should
you cancel your wedding you will loose this deposit, which goes
towards the losses incurred by the Studio
What are have your
other customers had to say?
Click here for our feed-back page.
When can we contact you?
We are available from Monday to Friday from 10am to
6pm. Visits to the Studio in Crawley Down are by appointment
only, please call us on 01342
716393 if
you would like to make an appointment. Unfortunately
we are not available at the weekends or bank holidays for meetings.
What's the best way to contact you?
We can be reached by phone, skype, or email -click here for
our contact details. However,
we are fully committed to maximising our use of electronic communications
both for the reasons of speed and convenience as well as to reduce
paper usage from an environmental standpoint. So having the
correct email address for you is really important - and that we
are updated if you change your address when you change your name
following the wedding.
What happens if our photographer is ill
on the day?
It hasn't ever happened yet, but in the unlikely event
that we are incapacitated to the point that they
cannot attend your wedding, we have a number of photographers that
we have worked with in the past that we would contact to step in.
Failing this, we would turn to the British Institute of Professional
Photographers to recommend us a replacement or to help in anyway.
Do you charge for travel expenses?
As a rule we don’t charge for travel expenses. However,
if your wedding is outside of our normal area, we do reserve the
right to charge mileage (at 42p per mile). However we will make
you fully aware of this if it applies to you, at the quotation
stage so there won’t be any surprises on your final invoice.
Do you photograph more than one wedding
on a single day?
We never book to attend more than one wedding on a day
as we feel it would be unfair on both couples in not getting the
attention that their wedding deserves.
Do you have any advice for winter weddings?
Unfortunately, the human eye is far more sophisticated
than a camera and so when you are planning a winter wedding, you
need to consider the light available. As a general rule of
thumb, the earlier in the day that you have your ceremony, the
more available light that you will have for your photography. Of
course if your ceremony is later or the weather is bad, then it
is worth making sure that your venue has a suitable indoor space
for photography. If you would like specific advice to then we're
happy to help.
How many photographs do you take at a
wedding?
The answer to this depends on a number of factors, such
as the time between the reception and ceremony, the number of guests,
the number of locations involved etc. However, we would expect
to take between 700 – 950 and present you with the best of those
(usually about 300 – 450), however, we do not sensor what you see,
we just delete the technical inadequate images and let you see
the rest.
Will we see every picture that you take?
No, we will go through all the pictures that we have taken
and strip out any unviable images, ‘blink shots’ and duplicates
and present you with the best of the best from which to make your
selection. The amount of pictures that you will see is usually
between 300 – 750, however, we don't plan on a given number, it
will be what it will be.
Do you use film or digital cameras?
Our photography is all digital – the quality is so good
and the flexibility so much wider, that we don’t work with film
at all - AT LAST!!
What cameras do you use?
We work with the absolute best in professional 35mm digital
cameras - the Canon 1DS MkIII (35mm) and sometimes the Hasselblad
H3D-39mkII.
Can you attend the bride’s house to capture
her preparations?
Yes, this is included in the Standard and Extended Day
Coverages and there are some great photographs to be had
of the ‘getting ready’ stage of the day. However, there are some
issues to consider regarding timings if you would like this part
of your day covered. We need to leave in plenty of time to arrive
at the ceremony venue before the service, including time to park
up, so you have to allow this time, plus traveling time. This allows
us set-up time and time with the groom and his party before leaving
him free to greet your guests and relax for half an hour before
the service. Then we will be ready to capture your arrival at the
venue. This time frame is absolutely vital, because delays at the
start of the day can mean at best, slightly rushed photography
and at worst whole areas being missed – neither of which is right
for your wedding day.
Can we have both black and white and
colour photographs?
Yes, we work entirely in digital cameras which offer us
the flexibility to convert images to black and white at the touch
of a button (or several). It is likely that the majority
of your image collection will be presented in colour, so if there
is an image that you would like in black and white, you just need
to ask.
As well as our wedding album, we would like
some pictures from our wedding to be framed on our wall. Is this
something you can do?
Of course, we offer a wide range of frames, mounting options
and accessories so you can display your pictures outside of an
album. We also offer an exciting new range of finishes, such as
canvas, crushed leather and high gloss that can turn your pictures
into truly original works of art.
How long after my wedding will I be able
to see my photographs?
We expect the post production work on your wedding collection
to be complete 2 - 4 weeks after your wedding date, we try to get them
done before you get back from honeymoon. At
which point we will contact you to let you know your images are ready
and make an appointment for you to visit our studios for your viewing,
where you will
also receive your low res CD.
Do you edit the images on a computer
before we see them?
Yes, all of your images are edited on a computer before
you see them - for example cropped and unified for colour and tone.
Further to this, some shots may have some digital effect applied
such as sepia toning or spot colours. All of this editing is carried
out as part of our mission to make your pictures as fantastic as
possible and so there is no charge for post-production service. Following
this, if you have special requests for digital manipulation these
can be considered and quoted for on a case by case basis - just
let us know.
How do we see our wedding photographs?
When your image collection is completed, we will contact
you to arrange your viewing at our studios in Crawley Down. There
you will see a selection of your images, album presentation ideas
and also receive your low
resolution CD so that you can make your
final image selection in the comfort of your own home. Your
images will also be uploaded to our secure web site and you will
be given the password and optional address cards so that you can
share them with your friends and family.
How long do our images stay on the web site?
We keep your wedding collection on the web site for a
period of 60 days. If you require them at any point in
the future, then please just contact and we can upload them again
for you.
Will our photographs on the internet
so all our friends and family can see them too?
Yes, we can supply you with a set of ‘address cards’
to pass onto your friends and family giving them your wedding collection
password and instructions on how to access your images. They
are then free to browse or order at their leisure.
How do we choose the wedding album that
we would like?
You will be able to make your final album selection when
you first view your wedding images during your visit to our studios.
How do we create our final wedding album
design?
The process can vary depending on the type of album that you finally
select and obviously we will guide you through the process in
detail at the time. However, basically you supply us
with your image selection and we will create an album layout
for you. Album creation is a relatively complex and technical
area so we will ensure we have a full understanding of what you
are looking for and then create the album to those specifications. When
this is complete, you will see a PDF proof to make sure that
you are happy with the detail and able to make any final tweaks
before the album goes into production.
Do you offer wedding albums for parents?
Yes of course, many parents want their own album to keep
as a memory of your wedding day. They are welcome to come with
you to your picture viewing and make their choice from the album
range we offer. Alternatively we have information on the range
that we can post or email to you.
How long will it take before my wedding
album arrives?
Once you have selected the images you would like for your
wedding album and the final proof has been approved, it will take
approximately four weeks before it is ready for you.
How will we get our wedding album?
You are welcome to collect your album if you are local
to the Crawley Down area. Alternatively we can arrange for it to
be shipped to you - costs for this can be advised at the time,
but are usually around £23 for recorded special delivery and insured.
How long will our photographs last?
All the papers our manufacturers use are guaranteed
archive quality which means that they will definitely last for
70 years before any kind of fading occurs – and in all probability,
if they are well stored, they will be going strong long after this
period.
What if I want to order a reprint in
the future?
No problem – we keep all your images for at least 3 years
and in reality probably a lot longer. So if in the future you want
to order more prints or even create an entirely new album, then
just get in touch with us.
What venues to do you cover?
We will shoot at any venue. It does not matter a jot that we have
been there before or not as we will treat each wedding as a seperate
special and personal day. We certainly have favourite venues,
these are
Alexander
House, Rowfont
House, Ashdown

sometimes circumstances mean that you have take the major step
of canceling your wedding. In terms of your commitment to our
photography, the following applies. You have 14 days in which you
can cancel your booking free of charge and we will refund your
deposit to you. If you cancel after this point the deposit is not
refundable but the balance will not be charged. The balance is
