Father's Day Photography Gifts

Father’s day is coming up on Sunday June 16th and if you are looking for a special gift for the Dad or Granddad in your life, then we might well have the answer for you! Visit the studio on either the 1st or 2nd June for your free session and walk away with some great images of you and your family all ready to make the perfect Father’s Day gift.

Weekend 1st & 2nd June – Open Studio Event Day for Father’s Day

We will be using our main studio with either a light or dark background and as well as providing the usual high quality portrait images, we will also have on hand some fun ‘Father’s Day’ themed props that you are welcome to use.  You could also bring your own props along (dad’s favourite football shirt, one of his golf clubs, anything that he loves that you think would add to the photo and make it an even better gift).  One great idea would be to get kids to make their own signs for dad that we can use in the session – just make sure that they are small enough for the kids to be able to hold without folding and clear and bright enough to be read in the photograph.

Of course these sessions aren’t just for children and could be an ideal time to get grown up families together to create a really memorable gift for dad or granddads.  We can accommodate groups of up to 6 adults in our studio on the Event Days – just get in touch if you have a larger group.

Father's Day Photography GiftsDo I Need An Appointment?

In order to keep everything running smoothly we will be running an appointment system.  Appointments will be available every half an hour (details of how to book are below) with your mini-session taking no longer than 15 minutes.  After this, we will process your pictures and you can view them on one of our computer screens, make your choices, pay and walk away with prints or digital images on the day.

Where Do I Park?

There is parking outside the front of the studio for up to three cars and plenty of safe street parking outside the studio along Sandy Lane so you shouldn’t have trouble finding a space.  Please note that our studio is up a flight of stairs so unfortunately we are unable to provide disabled access to the shooting space. If you need to bring along a buggy or pram,  you will be able to leave it safely downstairs whilst you have your pictures taken and collect it afterwards.

What are the Prices?

An 8″ x 6″ print will cost £10 and will be printed straight away for you take home with you, and if you buy two, you can get one FREE!

If you love all of your images and just can’t decide, then you can choose to take them all on CD for £45 or just take a single digital image via email for £15.

Can I Access my Images After the Event Day?

Your images will be online on Monday 3rd June if you would like to order more or to share them with friends and family.  The code for sessions on the Saturday will be EV-21911 and for sessions on the Sunday will be EV-21912.  On the event day itself, we will give you a reminder card with your code on as well.

We are running a very special promotion for this event meaning that you will be able to buy a 20″ x 16″ canvas wrap of your image for just £74 (the normal price is £150).  To ensure that you can receive this in time for Father’s Day, you need to order this by 11am on Monday 10th June.

I Want my Dad to be in the Photographs

Dads are, of course, welcome to come along but  if you’d like to give them the present without ruining the surprise too early then you can always buy them a gift experience. That way, you can give them the gift and then all come together for your session.  If you’d like to find out more about buying a photography gift certificate then click here.

About the Author:

I am a professional Creative ~ Photographer, Videographer, Cinematographer and Drone Pilot My professional photographic career started at the tender age of 13 when I won my first commission to photograph an art collection by a local artist. It paid £50 which was reasonable money for an ambition 13 year old in 1978. I have continued to take pictures ever since, and quite simply, I couldn’t be happier! I am professionally qualified with the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP), and also the Masters Photographer Association (MPA), although I have recently decided to give up my membership of the MPA in favour of the other two associations.
