Family Portrait – the Best Christmas Present

Family Portrait – the Best Christmas Present

Family Portrait - the Best Christmas Present I’ve been lucky enough to see this family quite a few times this year.  First there was a newborn shoot with ‘Mummy’s Best Present’ (and I’m absolutely sure that she is), then a family shoot with older siblings.  Then spread throughout the year, there have been two more sittings with baby Ana for her Joey Club year of photography then this last Christmas themed shoot, designed to provide great presents for family members.

I’ve said it before and no doubt I will say it again, photos make fabulous gifts.  Not only are the pictures themselves something that can be enjoyed by the recipients for years to come but the fact that you went to the effort of getting dressed up and attending the sessions speaks volumes about how much you love the person you are going to give them to.  No gift vouchers or online ordering for you (well you can buy photography gift vouchers and actually you order the prints from your session online but you know what I mean), you really cared and went the extra mile to create a totally unique present that you know someone will love.

So next Christmas, birthday, anniversary or special occasion – give some thought to giving the gift that really shows you care and make your studio appointment.

About the Author:

I am a professional Creative ~ Photographer, Videographer, Cinematographer and Drone Pilot My professional photographic career started at the tender age of 13 when I won my first commission to photograph an art collection by a local artist. It paid £50 which was reasonable money for an ambition 13 year old in 1978. I have continued to take pictures ever since, and quite simply, I couldn’t be happier! I am professionally qualified with the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP), and also the Masters Photographer Association (MPA), although I have recently decided to give up my membership of the MPA in favour of the other two associations.
