Father’s Day is a great day to celebrate the special dad or granddad in your life but all too often, it is difficult to think of the perfect gift to buy them.  Beer, socks and chocs can get a bit boring after a while so, inspired by the difficult to buy for men in my life, I decided to create a special studio event designed to make it easy to give the perfect , unique, original and different Father’s Day present.

So on the 1st and 2nd June, we opened up the studio for free sessions for sons and daughters to visit and create some fabulous images to give to Dad on their special day.  Some people bought their own props reflecting a special hobby or interest (and in one case a much loved dog), some made signs or drew pictures and some chose to use our range of specially designed and handmade Father’s Day props.

Whatever people added to their pictures, we had a wonderful time creating some very special and cool images for Father’s Day gifts and all the time and effort that people went to, I’m sure was very well appreciated by the Dad’s and Granddads that received them on the big day.

About the Author:

I am a professional Creative ~ Photographer, Videographer, Cinematographer and Drone Pilot My professional photographic career started at the tender age of 13 when I won my first commission to photograph an art collection by a local artist. It paid £50 which was reasonable money for an ambition 13 year old in 1978. I have continued to take pictures ever since, and quite simply, I couldn’t be happier! I am professionally qualified with the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP), and also the Masters Photographer Association (MPA), although I have recently decided to give up my membership of the MPA in favour of the other two associations.
