We have quite a lot of props and seats in our studio. I like to think there is something to suit all occasions but one of my favourite is this gorgeous chaise longue – it just has so many uses. It is glamorous and sexy enough for our female makeover / boudoir portraits, it is large enough to accommodate a sizeable family group in relative comfort (well, anyone who I’ve ever made perch on the back of it might disagree on the comfort aspect but in such cases we do work very quickly to minimise the risk of parts going numb!), and sometimes, it is just a very comfy sofa for small boys to relax on during their photo session. Sort of a one size fits all kind of prop…
Lots of Studio Props!
About the Author: Steve Fisher
I am a professional Creative ~ Photographer, Videographer, Cinematographer and Drone PilotMy professional photographic career started at the tender age of 13 when I won my first commission to photograph an art collection by a local artist. It paid £50 which was reasonable money for an ambition 13 year old in 1978. I have continued to take pictures ever since, and quite simply, I couldn’t be happier! I am professionally qualified with the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP), and also the Masters Photographer Association (MPA), although I have recently decided to give up my membership of the MPA in favour of the other two associations.
