When you have a newborn baby, those first smiles are incredibly precious and no amount of people telling you that it is 'only wind' will make you believe that your baby is not communicating with you. But there is a great deal more that is also wonderful about this new person you have made and I think, if you were to ask me, little baby feet and toes have got to be up there in terms of sheer cute factor.
Especially at this time of year, it's good to keep wrapped up warm and snuggly and this little chap took the advice very seriously and kept himself cocooned in his cardigan as he napped in our studio. It is very important when you are a baby and already have a hectic schedule at the age of 10 weeks, and you have the added pressure of a portrait photographic session in the studio, that you make time to relax. I think this is one of those times when I truly relish the joy of being a photographer and appreciate the effect that still images can have over video. Not much else to say about this one, it speaks for itself really - one very gorgeous sleepy newborn fellow! ...Sarah
It's never too young to start out on your modelling career, in fact this little lady had already been to our studio although she was just the 'bump' in a maternity photography session at the time. Still, her experience in the studio paid dividends and she was a fantastic little model at the tender age of just four weeks.
