Horsham Registry Office is a great wedding venue for the smaller venue (the ceremony room will hold up to 40 guests) and it’s also a great venue for your wedding photography with lots of opportunities both during the ceremony and outside the building and in the adjacent gardens.
It is easy to find as it is in the centre of Horsham town with convenient public transport and also plenty of parking for your guests. However, the main advantage that it has over some other local registry offices are the fabulous gardens at the back of the office.
The ceremony room is a pretty setting for the ceremony with plenty of natural light and the front of the building itself is an attractive red brick with parking for your wedding car immediately outside. The best part of the venue however, lies just a short walk around the building in the gardens and parklands at the back of the office.
Although it is a public space, I’ve always found the general public tend to stay out of the way of wedding parties. This leaves you free to enjoy the enclosed gardens, archways, bandstand and park lands for both your group photos and some romantic and creative portraits of you as a couple before moving on to your reception venue.
